My dad turned 81 last week, and because of the pandemic, we haven't been able to see each-other in person for over a year. He has Parkinson's disease, and electronic communication, even video calls,are difficult.

I've had an uneven relationship with my family-of-blood, but I always have had a sense of his expectations.

A place the bullies could never find

All that I could see
